À propos de la guerre en Iraq, en Europe, on ne trouve point d'arguments plus profonds que « Pas de guerre pour le pétrole » ou des caricatures de W.

À l'entrée de l'unif se trouve ce samedi une poignée de personnes demandant de ramener leurs soldats vivants et maintenant. Voici les tract qu'ils distribuent (je respecte les soulignements, les majuscules et la mise en page dans la mesure du possible)

"SEEK PEACE AND PURSUE IT" -- Psalm 34:14

We are disturbed about the direction of our country in the worlds today. We find the massive use of violence against innocent persons unacceptable.

1. War does not lead to peace and security; nor can we extend democracy at the end of a gun. Far from stopping terrorists, this war enrages many who join the insurgency.

2. War not only kills life, which is sacred, but it brutalizes both sides, destroying tolerance, civil liberties, community, and morality.

3. The U.S. should address the causes of terrorism, such as poverty, injustice, racism, humiliation, imperialism, repression, and desperation.

4. Non-violence works. It liberated India, South Africa, E. Europe. In the United States, both the Women's and Civil Rights Movemenrs use non-violence.

5. We must work for peace, justice, equality, disarmament, and the restoration of our planet through United Nations. For mre informations, contact ... blablabla
